From high-profile museums to community-based artists, Tana Hargest serves her clients and collaborators as an experienced cultural producer and accomplished nonprofit leader. Tana has over eighteen years of experience providing strategic guidance and practical implementation plans for individual artists and arts organizations. Recent projects include:

- As a Minnesota State Voices Fellow, worked with Main Street Alliance MN on voter engagement for the 2020 election.

- Developed an advancement plan to increase earned and contributed revenue for the Foundation for the Advancement of Midwifery, a New York-based charity working nationally to advance midwifery and improve maternal health.

- Worked with the Jay and Rose Phillips Family Foundation to develop and lead a learning trip to Jackson, MS for a group of cooperative business owners and organizers based in North Minneapolis.

- Provided leadership coaching and change management for the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council during the organization’s executive director search.

- Evaluation: Hargest worked with Forecast Public Art to conduct evaluation as they develop and pilot a Public Art and Placemaking Tool for City Planners, made possible through the generous support of the National Endowment for the Arts Our Town program and Southern Minnesota Initiative Foundation.

- Fund Development Coaching: worked with TU Dance on the development of a giving circle and a series of fund and audience development gatherings, as part of the Raise MN pilot program, a Give MN initiative.

- Sponsorship Development: helped Giant Steps develop sponsorships and partnerships for the 8th annual conference for creative entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial creatives.

- Communications Planning: consulted with Nexus Community Partners on the development and evolution of its print and digital communications.
